Natural Capital Regional Resilience – Co-Chairs Announced

The Aotearoa Circle is pleased to announce the co-chairs for our Natural Capital Regional Resilience workstream.  This workstream will help the Bay of Plenty understand its critical vulnerabilities to climate change and nature degradation.  What we learn will be able to be applied to other regions in Aotearoa.  The Circle has commissioned PwC NZ to do the work, with the aim of producing a detailed analysis of the impact of climate and nature change in this one region. Our Co-Chairs are:

Fiona McTavish, CEO of the Bay of Plenty Regional Council.

Fiona has a science and education background and has been the Chief Executive of the Regional Council since 2018.
