Modern Genetic Technology

The Circle has published two reports considering the risks and opportunities that we face in Aotearoa around any potential changes to our regulatory settings.  Phase One is a substantial piece of work which looks at several different case study applications of modern genetic technologies and asks what New Zealand could do regarding modern genetic technologies, rather than attempting to define what we should do.  Phase Two is a supporting document, which pulls together the views of a wide range of experts and those with an interest in this area, to outline key actions which will be needed to support a robust process of regulatory decision making.
